Hello everyone!
I am a Japanese woman living in Tokyo.

I was keeping a beauty-related shop at Nihonbashi, Chuo ward and moved it to my house 4 years ago. I took this opportunity and was able to get own time, so I thought I wanted to go to a gym or to do learning or so on what I couldn't so far.

At such time I watched the NHK morning drama "Hanako to Anne". It's great things there was a person who learned and acquired English in that time!

My English ability is poor, though I live in such rich times. Then I thought I should learn English.

At first I wrote English diary everyday at the NHK Gogakuru for six months. After that I went to a culture center of my town for English lesson once a week, so I stopped writing English diary. But I realized writing English diary improved me.

So I write English diary here for learning.

こんにちは。
私は東京在住の日本人女性です。

中央区日本橋で美容系のお店を経営しておりましたが、4年前に自宅へ職場を移転しました。それを機に少し自分の時間も持てるようになったので、今まで出来なかったジム通いや習い事をやりたいと思っていました。

そんな矢先、NHK朝ドラで「花子とアン」を見たんです。あの時代に英語を習得した人がいるなんてすごい！

自分はこんなに恵まれた時代に生きているのになんと英語力の乏しいこと。そうだ、私は英語の勉強をしよう、と強く思ったんです。

それでまずはNHKのゴカクルというサイトで英文日記を半年間毎日書きました。その後、区の英会話講座に週1回通うようになり日記はやめてしまいました。でも、やはり日記を書くことは上達につながる、と実感したんです。

そんなことで、英語の勉強のために英文日記をこのブログに書いていこうと思います。
