On an evening news TV program, I learned the longest suspension bridge in Japan "Mishima sky walk".
I am exciteed if I cross the bridge of 400m while I see Mt.Fuji. I hope to go there. I want to cross that bridge by own feet, I thought.
Next, the news program introduced an attraction "Long Zip Slide ". It looks so enjoyable also. I want to do it.
I searched about that on the internet soon, then I found a tour that going around forest while riding a Segway. What an enjoyable place !
When my husband came back to home, I asked him "I found this today, it seems enjoyable, doesn't it ? ". And he answered "Did you know ? I love such attraction".
Ha ha, we are supposed go there someday.
夕方のニュース番組で、日本一の吊り橋「三島スカイウォーク」を知りました。
富士山を眺めながら400mの吊り橋を渡れるなんてワクワクする！行きたい！自分の足で歩いて渡りたいと思いました。
そして次に紹介されたのが、ロングジップスライドというアトラクション。もうこれがとても楽しそう！！やってみたい！
早速、インターネットで調べていたら、セグウェイに乗って散策するツアーもありました。なんて楽しそうなところなの～！！
それで、帰宅した夫に「今日、こんなの見つけたんだけど楽しそうじゃない！？」と言ってみました。そしたら「知ってる？オレ、こういうの大好きなんだけど！」という返事。
むふふー、ここはきっといつか行くことになるだろうな。

When I am under stress, I can release it by doing something fun. But my mother can't release stress well.
Several years ago, such time, I made a natural stone bracelet for her and said “While you wear this bracelet, good things going to happen”. After that, she wore it everyday with joy. It has crystal, rose quartz, amethyst and labradorite. To tell the truth, I don’t think that good things happen what she only wear it, but if it become an amulet for her, I am happy.
She wore it everyday, and the elastic code had been yellowed and seemd to be cut at any moment. That bracelet seems become an indispensable thing for her. I was asked repair of it.
When I replaced an elastic cord and some parts, it became beautiful again. I handed the bracelet to her while I said “Good things happen again”.
ストレスがたまった時、私は何か楽しいことをして発散することができます。しかし、私の母は発散することが苦手なんです。
数年前のそんな時、「これを身につけておけば、いい事あるよ」と天然石でブレスレットを作ってあげました。そうしたら、喜んで毎日身につけてくれました。水晶、ローズクオーツ、アメジスト、ラブラドライトを使っています。内心、パワーストーンの力で何か良いことが起きるとは思っていませんが、お守りみたいなものなればいいなと思って作りました。
毎日身につけた結果、ゴムが黄ばんで今にも切れそうでした。母にとってこのブレスレットは、もはや身につけていないと気になるものになってしまったようで、修理を頼まれました。
ゴムと一部のパーツを取り替えたらまた綺麗に蘇りました。「またいい事あるよ！」と手渡しました。

Now, Harumi Kurihara is 71 years old. She restarted learning English since 60 years old.
Several years ago, I have seen on a TV program which she was training cooking for about a week at a resturant in Europe. Then, she was speaking English very well. I thought she didn't use difficult words because even I could understand. However, I envy that she can speak soon what she is thinking.
She takes English conversation lessons using a phone every morning for 30 minuts, about a theme of own cooking recipes. She has been learning English without getting tired because the theme is her favorite thing. Her favorite thing or a thing that she want to tell, is cooking.
What is my favorite thing and a thing I want to tell ?
I think I hope to continue hobby of knitting as my lifework. I love knitting. I wish to perform in English about knitting someday.
栗原はるみさん、現在71歳。60歳から英語を学び直し始めたそうです。
何年か前、テレビで栗原はるみさんがヨーロッパのレストランで1週間ほど修行する番組を見ました。その時にとても上手に英語を話されていたんです。私でも理解できる英語でしたからそれほど難しい単語は使われていなかったと思います。しかし、思ったことを瞬時に口に出して話せることがとても羨ましく思えました。
毎朝30分、電話での英会話レッスンの教材は自作の料理レシピ。好きなテーマだから飽きずに続けてこられたそうです。きっと栗原はるみさんの、好きなこと=伝えたいこと、が「料理」なのですね。
私の好きなこと、伝えたいこと、って何だろう？
英語学習の他に生涯続けていこうと思っているのが趣味の編み物。私は編み物が好き。いつか編み物を通じて英語で発信する活動ができるといいな。

Hato Bus Company is 70 years since establishment.
Actually I have never used Hato bus tours.
I am interested in foreign language tours. It has Chinese tours and English tours. Of course, I want to join for English tours.
It seems to me I can learn English for introduceing tourism area. There is good opportunity that I talk with foreigners. And also, I can do sightseeing.
Alright , I will invite someone to it.
はとバス、創業70年なんですね。
実は、はとバス、まだ一度も乗ったことがないんです。
興味があるのは、外国語ツアー。中国語と英語のツアーがあるらしいです。もちろん英語のツアーに参加してみたいです。
英語で観光地を紹介するための勉強になりそうですよね。外国人観光客とも話すチャンスがありそうだし、そして観光も出来ますから。
さてさて、誰かを誘いましょうかね♬

I was born in Miyazaki prefecture same as my father, and had lived until 6 years old. Our family were in Kobayashi city. My father ran a small clock shop. I was often kept of grandmother in Ebino city where is my father's hometown, because my parents were busy with work.
I clearly remember that my grandmother made me rice balls. Those were made by barley rice, and no ingredients, no toasted seaweed, only with salty taste, however those were so delicious.
From first grade to fifth grade in elementary school, I grew up at my mother's hometown in Kawanabe-gun,Kagoshima prefecture. It has changed name as Minamisatsuma-shi now. My grandmother was good at crop work, so it made us happy of eating habits rich.
We ate fruit which melons, watermelons, Japanese medlar, passion fruit or bontan, born at a field or a garden. I surprised, we moved to Kanto-region and when I understood that we have to buy to eat them.
My grandfather was skillful person to make anything.
I had enjoyful childhood days, so I can’t write everything at once. I am going to show it little by little.
私は、父の生まれ故郷でもある宮崎県で生まれ、6歳までそこで過ごしました。住んでいたの小林市。父は小さな時計店を営んでいました。両親が商売で忙しかったせいもあり、えびの市の父の実家の祖母に預けられることが多かったです。
祖母が作ってくれたオニギリをよく覚えています。麦メシで俵型、海苔も具もない塩味のオニギリでしたが、それがとても美味しかったんです。
小学校1年生から5年生まで、母の故郷の鹿児島県川辺郡、今の南さつま市で過ごしました。祖母は畑仕事が上手で、私達はその野菜で豊かな食生活を送っていました。
メロンやスイカ、ビワ、パッションフーツ、ボンタンも庭や畑で実ったものを食べていました。関東に来てそれが店に売っていて、買わないと食べられないことを知った時にはビックリしました。
祖父がまた器用な人でカゴ、網、刃物など、何でも作れる人でした。
一度では書ききれないくらい楽しかった子供時代。また少しずつ日記に書いていこうと思っています。

My husband, my mother and I went to my husband's hometown today. We left home at 5 early morning, because He thought highway might become crowded.
When we took breakfast at service area , my mother bought "Tokyo Banana" to gift for my mother-in-law.
Lately, I often see "Tokyo Banana" at shoppingcenter. It looks so delicious. So I have ever given it, but I have never eaten it.
However, I pretty want to eat it. Should I buy to eat it by myself for me ? In fact, I expect to be given it from someone.

今日、夫と私の母と私で夫の実家へ行ってきました。夫が高速道路が混むかもしれないと言うので、早朝５時に出発です。
サービスエリアで朝食を取った時に、母が義理母へと「東京バナナ」を買いました。
最近、ショッピングモールでよく「東京バナナ」を見かけます。とても美味しそうなんです。だから誰かに贈ったことはあるんですが、実は一度も食べたことがないんです。
でも、とっても食べたい！自分で買って食べるべき？内心、誰かに貰えるのを期待しているのだけど。

Have you known “Obondama”?
A few weeks ago, my acquaintance told me about that, so I already have known. There aren't kids in family related who we have to gift Otoshidama already.
We have 3 nephew and 2 niece, therefore we had gifted Sichigosan, Entrancing-school, Coming‐of‐age ceremony and Otoshidama for them. If Obondama was customary at that time....oh my !
There seems to be an opinion “Hope to stop such culture because there is Otoshidama also”.
I vote it !
お盆玉をご存知ですか？
つい最近、私は知り合いに教えていただいたばかりで知っていました。
私は、親戚に小さな子供はいないので、もうお年玉をあげることもなくなりました。甥姪が5人いて、七五三、入学祝い、成人祝い、就職祝い、お年玉、と手渡してきました。もしあの頃、お盆玉の習慣が定着していたら…ムリムリムリ。
「お年玉もあるのに、こういう文化を増やさないでほしい」といった厳しい声も寄せられているそうですが、私もその声に1票！
